Audit Staff - Assurance, Aruba

About the role

EY Aruba is recruiting an Assurance audit professional. The role sits within EY's Assurance digital, technology and innovation area, where digital tools and technology are used to improve the quality and value of services delivered to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of financial statements and communicate them to the team.
• Document the execution of audit procedures clearly and accurately, according to engagement objectives, client history and the planned audit approach.
• Challenge past procedures and seek to improve audit techniques.
• Show professionalism and competence in the client's environment, maintain a strong client focus and build productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Stay informed of current business and economic developments relevant to the client.
• Work collaboratively with team members to set goals and responsibilities, share ideas and use technology to learn and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or currently pursuing a professional accounting designation such as ACCA, CA or CPA.
• Experience in a related field is considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and flexibility to travel to other EY offices if needed.
