Tax Manager - Aruba

About the role

EY Aruba is looking for a Tax Manager to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. The role involves leading engagements, managing client relationships, coaching and developing team members, and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of tax compliance and advisory engagements with timely delivery and high-quality client service.
• Provide tax planning, tax compliance and tax advisory services to local and multinational clients.
• Review tax returns, tax provisions and other tax deliverables prepared by junior team members.
• Advise clients on tax risks, opportunities and regulatory developments.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify opportunities to expand EY's services.
• Lead, coach and mentor Tax Staff, Seniors and Supervisors.
• Manage engagement budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management standards.
• Stay up to date with tax legislation, regulations and industry trends and turn them into practical client solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development, proposals and networking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and/or tax advisory.
• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax principles.
• Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or Papiamento is an asset.
• A professional tax qualification or progress toward a recognized tax certification is an asset.
